Dubai is perfect for a Girls Trip, it has everything - restaurants and bars, desert, culture, shopping, night life and the best brunches you had in your life.
We stayed at the wonderful 5-star H Hotel. The staff was super friendly and gave us one of the signature suites with a walk-in closet on the 30th floor! Imagine our luck when we saw the beautiful room with a view and the walk-in closet- a dream come true for all the ladies!
But we had no time to lose as I already organised a lunch at Shimmers, the best spot for a cocktail with a view on Burj Al Arab. I must say it was not so easy to find the place as Jumeirah Madinat is a huge complex and not everybody knew about this restaurant.
After you pass the Souk and the Abras, you need to cross a small bridge to get to the restaurant. I really wanted to go there as it has a beautiful view on the Burj Al Arab and you can make some wonderful shots from the restaurant and the private beach. Careful, you will need a reservation so plan ahead.
Later that night we went to one of the hotel bars called Play and we enjoyed a couple of drinks and some tapas. Needless to say, both the food and the drinks were delicious and we enjoyed some of the live music so we highly recommend this place if you are in Dubai. The hotel also has 5 other restaurants and bars iof which one is a rooftop bar. As we were tired from the overnight flight we called it a day.
On the second day, we took it a bit easy in the morning and went straight to the Dubai Mall and the area. You can't go to Dubai and avoid shopping plus it is a girls trip isn’t it? If you don’t want to have breakfast in the hotel you can get a nice breakfast and coffee to go. For those who are not familiar with the Dubai Mall and the area, this is where Burj Khalifa and dancing fountains are as well as the Souk and the Aquarium. You can easily spend the full day here but we stayed for an afternoon. We also got our Dubai scarf and got ready for the desert as we totally imagined we are shooting Sex and the City in Dubai ( lol!).
In the early afternoon, we already booked a trip to the desert. The highlight of every trip to Dubai this is a must and I can not stress how much fun this was. We booked a trip over Viator and I researched a lot beforehand.
We had a private jeep, beduin dinner, 4x4 desert safari and quad bike included for 90 USD/person.
I really loved the quad ride and the 4x4 desert safari and would love to do it again. Overall the trip was a lot of fun and great value for the price. Make sure to have enough time s in the desert for the photo shooting.
In the evening we ended up in Restaurant Catch and we loved the relaxed ambiance and the food, plus the vicinity of our hotel. The restaurant also treated us with a lovely mouth-watering chocolate caramel dessert that you need to try if you stop by. And we wrapped the evening in bar Siddhartha with some nice cocktails by the pool.
Our last day we enjoyed the hotel's pool. The pool is small but nice and what is most important the pool is heated so even I took a dip! Bonus - there was nobody at the pool so we could take some nice shots!
Sooo I would do this trip immediately again without thinking and that’s why I decided to pull a group together and do it! If you are interested drop me a note at paola@themissadventure.com and we can get it going maybe in January, 2019. What do you think?
Get ready to have some fun time in Dubai with MissAdventure! :)
